ABOUT

San Diego-born alternative soul artist Shua creates art for the s(S)pirit. Raised on a diet of gospel harmonies and folk tales, he crafts songs for Lonely People that navigate the space between humanity and something celestial.

Fresh off a 16-date national theater tour and with over 1 million streams to date, he is currently “re-constructing the sacred and the secular” through two upcoming records: his debut album and a collaborative gospel mixtape.

Shua has rapidly transitioned from a local secret to a national presence, building a career defined by both digital momentum and live command.

Shua has earned critical recognition for his distinctive sound, receiving features and praise from NPR, KPBS, and San Diego Magazine.

A respected collaborator, Shua has written, recorded with and performed alongside budding and Grammy-winning talent (Thee Sacred Souls, Chandler Moore, Madison Ryann Ward, Johnnyswim, etc.), bridging the gap between underground innovation and mainstream excellence.

He recently completed a 16-date national theater tour, performing for an aggregate audience of over 15,000.

Over 1 million career streams, driven by a dedicated and growing global listener base.
